the "Tribute Car To Chuck Finders". The '33 Willys
Coupe of Dave
Cobb from North Ridgeville, Ohio. The car joins an elite
display of "Willys
Heaven" Willys coupes and sedans and is
called "Finders

Oct '07 - We are deeply saddened by the loss of Paul Mayo. A
staunch Oldsmobile
supporter, Paul was a major part of our upcoming Tribute to Oldsmobile.
The Tribute
will go on - now not only to Oldsmobile, but also to Paul Mayo. He
will be missed. |
The York Reunion and Nostalgia
Nationals is the annual reunion for the famous “York” drag racing
facility and the Nostalgia Nationals for the many cars and fans who raced
and were spectators there.
The show has drawn drag racing enthusiasts
from all over the country and some from abroad. It has become the
annual reunion for those who worked and ran at the “York” track. It
also has become the annual reunion for the Legends of Drag Racing who make
their annual visit to the event, sign autographs and socialize with those
who they competed against and to provide their many fans the opportunity
to talk one on one.
The “York” track was site of the largest
one day drag race in the nation in 1965 with the presentation of the Super
Stock Nationals. Legendary race cars are on display each year who
competed at this phenomenal race and race track. The staff and management
of this popular facility make their annual trek to the show to pay tribute
to those days gone by and to visit and reminisce about the history of this
world famous dragway.

The York Reunion and Nostalgia
Nationals is a combined effort of Darwin Doll, former NHRA Division
Director and Beaver Bob McCardle of Beaver Springs Dragway. Both are
dedicated to the preservation of our performance heritage.
